In Section page 3A Deadly Business

1a) What are the 2 worrying trends about drug trafficking mentioned in the article?

Answers:The 2 worrying trends is that more Singaporeans are being arrestedfor drug crimes overseas.Between 2002 and 2006, there are 330 people were caught in Thailand and Malaysia where there are many now behind bars. Another worrying trends are teens that as young as 14 have been convicted . Those aged 16 and older will be dealt with like adults and this usually means jail, cane or worse.Drugs such as ecstasy and Ketamine , the sentence is up to 20 years jail and 15 strokes of the cane , adult traffickersface the death penalty .

b) Why are Singaporeans increasingly being used as "drug mules"?
Answers: Singaporeans are increasingly being used as "drug mules" because they are less likely to be checked because of Singapore reputation of being tough on drug. Singapore does not need a visa for many places .

2) What will you do if you find out that one of your friends is selling drugs? How will you react if someone tries to sell you drugs?

Answers: If one of my friends is selling drugs, i will tell him or her to stop selling drugs and tell her that there is many consequences of selling drugs . If he or she stubborn , and do not want to hear my advice, i will tell her parents about this matter. If someones tries to sell drugs to me , i will try to say dont want with a nice talk. I will say that im do not want to buy and say that im not interested in it . I will try to get away from the person who try to sell me drugs with a nice way.
